Typhoon Helen Strengthens

Synopsis: At 4:00 pm today, the eye of Typhoon "HELEN" was located based on all available data at 415 km East Northeast of Basco, Batanes (21.5ºN, 125.8ºE) with maximum sustained winds of up to 150 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 185 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 20 kph.
